Obituary for Gloria Palange Girard
Gloria Palange Girard was born on April 26, 1937 to Matteo and Theresa Palange in Boston, MA.
At the young age of 20, Gloria decided to leave Boston behind for sunny Los Angeles. A few years later, she met Melvin Girard and were married in 1961 at St. Bridget's Church in Los Angeles. Eventually they went on to have their beloved daughter, Lisa Marie, the family relocated to beautiful Orange County California.
Gloria worked hard in the real estate banking industry for approximately 40 years. She was proud to retire in 2000 from Bank of America.
During her retirement and being a devout Catholic; Gloria liked to spend her time visiting her local parish’s Rosary Groups and Senior Centers. She also enjoyed walking, aerobics and occasional gardening. Spending time with her granddaughter, Vanessa, was her greatest joy.
Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband, Melvin Girard; sisters Elisa Oniell and Esther Gentilly; and her brother Albert Palange.
She is survived by her daughter- Lisa Buenrostro and granddaughter- Vanessa Buenrostro; sister- Elena Carnabuci and brother- Matthew Palange.
