Obituary for William Davis Dickinson

William “Bill” Davis Dickinson passed away peacefully with his devoted wife, Jeannine, by his side on February 15, 2022.

Bill was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and married Jeannine Seibert October 1, 1966. They had a dream to own a business and move to California. In May of 1978 Bill, Jeannine and three kids moved to Tustin, CA. Bill owned and operated Roberts Electric. He enjoyed working and living in Tustin. In 1998 he sold Roberts Electric to a family friend and semi-retired in Rancho Mirage, CA. He worked as an electrician for a country club.

Bill instilled a good work ethic in his three children. He made sure to communicate all of his knowledge he’d learned over the years. He was always willing to help with homework projects and was very generous with his time when family or friends needed a helping hand. We are a close knit family and we were fortunate to spend a lot of time together. He mostly enjoyed seeing his six grandchildren grow up. He was proud of them and loved hearing about their school, jobs and life adventures.

Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeannine. Children: Jill (Jeff) Carlisle, Michelle (JJ) Morrissey and James (Lupe) Dickinson. Grandchildren Ashley and Megan Carlisle; Kayla and Luke Morrissey; Ryan and Aidan Dickinson. His sister Holly Gorecki and brother Barry Dickinson.

In lieu of flowers, Bill wanted friends and family to go out to dinner and enjoy time together.

Visitation is at Saddleback Chapel Wednesday, March 2nd 5pm-9pm. Graveside service at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery Thursday March 3rd at 10am.
